Road conditions

If you are going to drive out of Natal, an excellent site to visit is the portal maintained by the Federal Department of Transportation; click the next link to go straight to the conditions of roads in RN (click on the name of the highway to get a report; note that only federal roads are listed).
The site is in Portuguese only, but the reports display a colored alerts panels; green, yellow and red lights report the condition of the road, the next column brings the kilometerage where the problem appears, then a description of the problem, then the nearest city.
