Ponta Negra has tens of hotels and pousadas (bed and breakfasts).
Many hotels were opened in the last two years. Many large houses were refurbished and turned into small hotels. A few other hotels are being built.
The hotels in Ponta Negra are usually of lower standard than the hotels at Via Costeira, but some of the larger hotels are of comparable high standards. Hotels in Ponta Negra may lack amenities like double swimming pools, sauna, etc, but they are much closer to restaurants, shoppings and bus lines.

Our aim is to provide information about as many hotels as possible in Ponta Negra.
Ponta Negra may be divided in three areas:
1) the area near the Morro do Careca, including the busy avenida Erivan França, which is the one passing along the Ponta Negra beach;
2) the area around the Ponta Negra promenade; the promenade is the prolongation of avenida Erivan França, prohibited for vehicles;
3) the area near Via Costeira and Praia Shopping.
