Directions: Av. Salgado Filho, 2234; 10 min. drive from Ponta Negra, 15 min. from Praia do Meio; served by several bus lines (the shopping maintains a free bus service). There are two big parking areas: the superior loot, entrance closer to main avenue, isn't roofed; to protect your car (and yourself) from the hot sun, use the lateral entrance.

It is the oldest shopping center in Natal, and still the cosiest one.
Two floors, about 100 shops (including about 20 restaurants), one large play ground, two movie theatres (update 2006: the two theatres were closed down), shops catering most for middle and upper classes.
Top floor: a McDonald's restaurant (in 2006, there was only one McDonalds in Natal); a Banco do Brasil branch; one of the biggest play parks in Natal; some of the best book shops in Natal; clothing, drugstore, sound and video, parfumes, etc.
Lower floor: a restaurant square; online computers offering intenet access; a few other shops; the central space is usually taken by several sorts of expositions (cultural, commercial, governmental, etc; in the images below, the area is taken by the Christmas decoration).
